Faces of FindCare4Kids: Meet Courtney, Our Marketing Lead

Finding a new pediatrician sent Courtney down a rabbit hole of websites, insurance checks, and reviews. That frustration helped shape FindCare4Kids.

FindCare4Kids did not start in a boardroom. It started with a feeling most parents know well: the overwhelm of searching for the right care for your child and not knowing where to begin.

For Courtney, that feeling was personal. When she needed to find a new primary care doctor for her kids, she found herself doing what most parents do: bouncing between websites, checking which insurance each practice accepted, reading reviews, calling to see if they were even taking new patients. "It was brutal," she says. "And that was just finding a pediatrician. I cannot imagine doing that while also navigating something more complex."

That experience stuck with her. As a mom and the marketing lead behind FindCare4Kids, she brings both a professional lens and a parent's perspective to everything the platform is building.

"Finding care for your child should be easy. That's where we come in." — Courtney

Courtney oversees the marketing strategy behind FindCare4Kids: blogs, social media, content, and the way the platform communicates with families. Her goal is not just visibility. It is clarity. She wants families who land on FindCare4Kids to feel like someone finally made this simple for them. Not just simple in terms of finding a name or a number, but genuinely supported. She wants the resources, the blog posts, and the directory to feel like they were made by people who actually understand what families are going through and want to help them take the next step with confidence.

She thinks a lot about the families on the other side of the search. Parents Googling at midnight, asking in group chats, piecing together recommendations from strangers because they do not know where else to turn. "I just want to simplify something for them," she says. "And make sure that when they get here, they feel like we actually get it."

One thing she wants families to know about the people behind FindCare4Kids is that this is not a team who built something from the outside looking in. The team includes parents, aunts, uncles, and people who have searched for care for someone they love. "We know firsthand what it is like to Google and search for things for your kids or someone you love. When we are building something or writing a resource, someone in the room has lived that search firsthand."

Outside of FindCare4Kids, Courtney is up at 5am most mornings: out for a run or at barre before most people's alarms go off. She recently got into baking and has been working her way through sourdough, bagels, and focaccia, getting her kids involved every step of the way. The rest of her time is spent outside: riding bikes, playing hockey in the driveway, baseball, and finding new lakes for swimming and fishing. Ollie, her shih tzu, whom she calls her first baby, is part of every bit of it. On bike rides he gets his own wagon because those little legs can only do so much. On game days he takes his job as official sideline supervisor very seriously.

She is also the person who starts holiday music earlier than anyone thinks is acceptable and fully stands by it.

We are glad she is on the team.
