Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how FindCare4Kids LLC ("FindCare4Kids," "we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use FindCare4Kids.com and any related websites, applications, or services (collectively, the "Services").
By using the Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Services.
1. Information We Collect
We do not collect or store patient health information or any information regulated as Protected Health Information (PHI) under HIPAA.
We collect only the categories described below.
1.1 Information Providers Submit
When Providers create or update a profile, we may collect:
- First and last name
- Business name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Business address (city, state, ZIP)
- Licensing or credential information
- Professional biography
- Photographs, logos, videos
- Payment information (processed securely through Stripe)
- Any information voluntarily submitted
Some fields may be required to maintain a listing.
1.2 Information Users Submit
Users may provide:
- Name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Any message they choose to send to Providers
FindCare4Kids does not store message content, though limited technical logs (e.g., delivery timestamps) may be retained for system operation.
Users should not submit sensitive medical or health-related information through the Services. While messages are transmitted to Providers, FindCare4Kids does not control the content of such communications and disclaims responsibility for information voluntarily submitted.
1.3 Automatically Collected Information
We may collect:
- IP address
- Browser type and version
- Device information
- Operating system
- Pages viewed
- Dates and times of visits
- Cookie identifiers
- Usage/traffic analytics
This helps us improve functionality, security, and performance.

4. What We Do NOT Do
We do not:

- Permit automated access to the Services, including scraping, crawling, or data extraction, in violation of our Terms of Use

If you submit another person's information (for example, submitting a provider's email or a colleague's phone number), you are responsible for ensuring you have permission to do so.
We are not liable for unauthorized third-party information you choose to submit.

- Firewalls and intrusion detection

- Vendor due diligence

7. Data Retention
FindCare4Kids retains information only for as long as necessary to operate the platform, comply with legal obligations, maintain directory integrity, and protect the safety of users.
We use the following retention timelines:
7.1 Provider Compliance and Administrative Records
We may retain information submitted by Providers for internal compliance, administrative review, and platform integrity purposes, including materials voluntarily provided by Providers.
- License verification notes
- Board screenshots
- Renewal checks
- Communication logs
- Disciplinary documentation for five (5) years after the provider is removed from the directory
FindCare4Kids may review certain information submitted by Providers for completeness, formatting, or compliance with our platform standards. However, such review is limited in scope and does not constitute verification, validation, endorsement, or a guarantee of any Provider's credentials, licensure, qualifications, or services.
7.2 Government-Issued Photo Identification
To reduce security risk and limit retention of sensitive documents:
- Provider government-issued ID documents are retained only for identity confirmation
- They are deleted within thirty (30) days after a provider is removed from the platform
- Copies of ID are not retained for the five-year recordkeeping period
7.3 Active Providers
For providers who maintain an active listing:
- Verification materials (other than ID) are retained and updated throughout the relationship
- ID may be retained as long as the provider is active, since quarterly verification requires identity confirmation
7.4 General Business Records
We may retain other information longer when:
- Required by law
- Needed for fraud prevention or security
- Required for legal defense
- Necessary to enforce agreements
When retention is no longer required, information is securely deleted.
Users are solely responsible for independently evaluating and verifying any Provider before engaging in services.
8. System Logs and Maintenance
To ensure proper operation and security, we may automatically collect:
- Server logs
- IP addresses
- Error logs
- Diagnostic data
- Security audit logs
This data may be used during maintenance, troubleshooting, or security investigations.
9. User Privacy Rights (U.S. State Laws)
Residents of certain states (including California, Colorado, Virginia, Connecticut, and Utah) may have rights such as:

Information submitted by a parent or legal guardian on behalf of a minor is treated as information provided by the adult. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 without parental involvement.
